Love this place
I stayed this weekend at Oak Park and had a great time. I had a tent in site 21, right on the water. There are bushes around the edge at this area, but still a great view and plenty of places to walk down and fish. It is only about 3 sites away from the boat dock. The sites in this area are very big and spaced a good distance apart. Plus you have a lot of room from the campsite all the way down to the water. Plenty of room for big campers or a couple of tents. Because of all the flooding they have had to remove quite a few trees and it's still a bit of a mess here and there because of that. There is still plenty of shade though. Maintenance could have done a little better job on stocking the closest bathroom. Almost out of toilet paper by the time I left. The cleanest bathroom and shower was down in the far section by site 37. Those were actually very nice and completely private. I would say the best sites were 17-25 (water side) with 17-19 being the best for water view but not as much shade although not bad. Site 48 looked nice and private and right on the water, but privacy would depend on how many people were using the fishing dock and/or renting the pavilion. I only spoke with one of the camp hosts and she was extremely nice and friendly. She did an excellent job at the check in. Over all a great relaxing stay and I will be back again!
