One word of caution - if your directions tell you to take NW 3110 - DO NOT FOLLOW THEM, especially if it has rained recently; that road is completely dirt and turns to awful mud in the rain. Two of our party's cars got stuck and had to be towed at high cost.
Loved the place! Very beautiful scenery well kept park. Had a wonderful time camping next to the lake.
It seem to be a great place
Several GPSs have this park's location wrong. To get here, turn west on FM 639 from FM 667 and go to the end of the road. The park entrance is on the left.
Had a great time camping here. Decent lots, pretty scenery, big enough to go biking / walking / exploring. People had a Party Barge and other small boats out on the lake; others fished. The groundskeepers were a really nice older couple; very friendly and helpful.
